Our PFAS (Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) testing solutions in water, sludge and soils have gained IANZ accreditation. To remain ahead of the game, our organics department is testing methods for PFAS - a large group of manmade chemicals that continue to be used in industrial applications, manufacturing, and firefighting foams. Emerging organic contaminants, otherwise referred to as forever chemicals or organic contaminants of emerging concern are understood to present a threat to human health and impact the natural environment.

Our suite can be used test for PFHxS + PFOS and PFOA listed in the Water Services (Drinking Water Standards for New Zealand) Regulations 2022.
